Viviana Carriquiry

Viviana Carriquiry was born in Argentina and studied Architecture at the University of Architecture and Urbanism of Buenos Aires.

Her background allowed her to introduce the world of design and gave her not only a method, but also the knowledge of the design process, the development of an idea and the possibility of making it real through different means of expression, such as the metal.

Since 1993 is dedicated to Contemporary Jewelry, her true vocation, learning multiple goldsmithing techniques as draught, chiselled, welding, heat controlled, and so on; and experimenting with different metals and materials: silver, copper, bronze, nickel silver, volcanic stone and glass.

Her works are presented in galleries in Argentina, the United States, Italy, China and Japan, where she  enjoys a great artistic recognition.
